Peshawar: All the party workers, well wishers and Pakhtuns are informed with great sorrow that our Senior Leader and Central Secretary Culture of the Awami National Party Mr. Syed Bilal Shah was died and his four close relatives including DSP Mohammad Arif Khan were injured in a fatal road accident near Kund, Khairabad, some 40 km from Nowshehra on Friday.

Advisor to prime minister on interior, Rehman Malik, has said that the Pakhtunkhwa government was fully authorized to enter deals with Taliban for securing peace and called for respecting the agreements.

“The federal government will support the Frontier government for its efforts to eliminate extremism and bring back peace and improve security in the troubled areas as insecurity is not a problem of the province but a threat to country’s survival,” Malik told a high level joint meeting of the federal and provincial governments’ officials at CM Secretariat on Thursday.

Central President of ANP Mr. Asfandyar Wali Khan, Chief minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, peace envoy Afrasiab Khattak, senior provincial minister Rahimdad Khan, federal interior secretary Syed Kamal Shah, chief secretary Sahibzada Riaz Noor, additional secretary FATA, heads of federal and provincial law enforcing agencies and other provincial and federal government officials were present in the meeting.
